人低為王

《菜根譚》中有一句名言：「地低成海，人低成王。」
大地放低姿態，終聚水成海；人放低姿態，才最終成才。
人之所以「低」能成王，是因做人謙恭則聚人心，聚人心者，得天下。
參天大樹離不開深入地面的樹根，高樓大廈離不開牢固的地基。
世間萬物源於一個「低」字，不僅蘊含著深厚的底蘊，更是為人處世的至高境界。
曾看過一則小故事。
很久以前，有一位國王很喜歡出門遊玩。
有一次，他迎面走來一個乞丐，道路兩旁的人都露出鄙夷的表情，很是嫌棄。
然而，這位乞丐卻向十分禮貌地向國王行禮問好，以示尊敬。
國王見狀，馬上取下頭上的禮帽回禮。
身邊的侍衛不解，問道：「您是高高在上的一國之主，為什麼要向乞丐行禮呢？」
國王回答說：「路邊的乞丐尚且知禮，更何況我還是一位國王呢？」
侍衛聽後，倍感羞愧。
敬人者，人恆敬之，一個人真正的修養，不在於地位高低，而是看他如何對待身份地位不如自己的人。
誠如曾國藩說：「謙卑含容是貴相。」
境界越高的人，姿態越低，
不自視過高，謙遜待人，才會得到他人真心的敬仰。
因此，人貴謙遜，如同稻穗低垂代表米粒飽滿。
一個人越是懂得放低姿態，人品就越高貴。
