有一天，一位博士來到了一個窮苦的小山村壯遊。
他在山上碰到了一個放羊娃在放羊。
這博士感嘆可憐的放羊娃一輩子沒出小山村，生於此、長於此，也死於此、葬於此!這樣的生命何等可憐！這博士的憐憫心腸大發，想指點這放羊娃…..
這博士問：你為什麼放羊?
放羊娃答：養大了賣錢。
這博士問：賣了錢幹什麼?
放羊娃答：蓋房子。
這博士問：蓋房子幹什麼?
放羊娃答：娶媳婦。
這博士問：娶媳婦幹什麼?
放羊娃答：生娃。
這博士問：生娃幹什麼?
放羊娃答：放羊。
博士無語…
博士感慨：“唉，沒救了，這樣的人生有什麼意思呢？”
感慨之餘，正要起身離去，卻見放羊娃傻傻地咧著嘴開始反問。
放羊娃問：你為什麼搞學問?
這博士答：搞學問可以出人頭地。
放羊娃問：出人頭地幹什麼?
這博士答：既可以掙錢，又可以出名。
放羊娃問：掙錢出名有什麼用?
這博士答：就可以買好房子，娶美麗的新娘子啦!
放羊娃問：買了房、娶了新娘幹什麼?
這博士答：就可以生兒育女、培養後代啦!
放羊娃問：培養後代幹什麼?
這博士答：讓他們出人頭地呀!
放羊娃問：讓他們出人頭地幹什麼?
這博士答：…..
這博士突然覺得，他和放羊娃其實沒什麼區別，都在這樣一個反復的迴圈公式裡。於是，他再次無語…..
其實，無論你處在哪個位置，放羊娃、還是博士，人生的追求都不只眼前的一點，而是要學會把目光放得長遠些。
