藍色系水晶石有著藍天的清澈空曠，也有著海水的幽靜深邃。
色彩美麗、明亮而靈動，可促進清明、沉澱心情，是上佳的寶石。
一、海藍寶
1、特質：
海藍寶礦石外觀是清澈的結晶體，充滿浪漫的海洋風味、也讓人聯想到藍天!
透明至半透明的藍色寶石，讓人看了覺得心情很好，但品相好的並不多，通常都會有天然冰裂及雲霧。
產地：美國、墨西哥、俄羅斯、巴西、印度、愛爾蘭、阿富汗。

在古埃及前王朝時期遺址亦可發掘到青金石所製的首飾。甚至被埃及人認為是一種聖石，只有非常有地位的法老王、大祭司等人才可佩帶。
佛教稱之為吠努離或璧琉璃，屬於佛教七寶之一。
中國古代通常用青金石作為上天威嚴崇高的象徵。據《清會典圖考》載：「皇帝朝珠雜飾，唯天壇用青金石，地壇用琥珀，日壇用珊瑚，月壇用綠松石；皇帝朝帶，其飾天壇用青金石，地壇用黃玉，日壇用珊瑚，月壇用白玉」。皆借玉色來象徵天、地、日、月，其中以天為上。由於青金石玉石「色相如天」，故不論朝珠或朝帶，尤受重用。
不同層次的藍色，其中有時會含金黃色(黃鐵礦)或白色(方解石)的內涵物。最優質的青金石玉石。其中的青金石礦物含量在99％以上，不含黃鐵礦，其他雜質礦物很少，質地緻密、堅韌、細膩，呈濃豔、純正、均勻的藍色。
2、生理能量訊息：
不同的藍色對應喉輪及眉輪，可改善眼部、喉嚨痛、氣管、呼吸道方面的疾病，也可刺激甲狀腺，使新陳代謝加快並順暢，對循環系統及皮膚也有幫助。
