紫晶洞因為傳說有聚氣化煞，招財進寶的作用，所以廣泛被運用成改善陽宅風水的風水石。

1、生理作用：

(5)對於若有路沖、屋角煞等，可將洞口對向來源，可有吸納作用，在洞裡放置水晶球，則可將煞氣轉換，化阻力為助力；而房間有門對門情況發生，可在長輩的門後擺放，可以減少衝突的發生。
