盍不食肉糜？

全球知名麥片品牌家樂氏（Kellogg’s）的CEO皮爾尼克（Gary Pilnick）前些日子慘遭炎上，因為他建議消費者應該「吃麥片當晚餐」來應付通膨，不少網友批評他有如法國的瑪麗安東尼皇后「不知民間疾苦」。
皮爾尼克2024年2月21日接受美國CNBC專訪，被主持人問到「美國食品雜貨價格持續上漲」以及「食品公司可以採取哪些措施？」時，他表示麥片的價格一直相當實惠，而家樂氏正在推廣「晚餐吃麥片」的行動，當消費者面臨經濟壓力時，一碗加了牛奶和水果、花費不到1美金的麥片會是晚餐的好選擇。
皮爾尼克進一步指出，家樂氏考量到消費者荷包，也推出了小包裝的麥片，讓民眾更加負擔得起。
不過當主持人質疑時，皮爾尼克又引用數據表示「25%消費者在早餐以外的時段吃麥片，很多人當晚餐或點心吃」，強調在通膨居高不下的此刻，吃麥片正「蔚為風潮」。
這番言論在網路上曝光後，立刻引發網友強烈撻伐—–
有網友表示「這真是他媽的反烏托邦！美國正在快速衰落！」；
有人則把皮爾尼克和步上斷頭台的瑪麗皇后相比，同樣「不知民間疾苦」；
更有人更開酸，皮爾尼克的年薪超過400萬美元（約新台幣1.2億元），「他會讓家人吃麥片當晚餐嗎？」
根據美國農業部調查，消費者2022年花在食物上的開銷，占可支配收入的11.3%，已重返1991年時的水準。
同樣「不知民間疾苦」—-
西晉時期，有位晉惠帝很體恤百姓。
有一年，發生饑荒。百姓無糧可吃，只能挖草根吃樹皮，餓死的人屍體堆積成山。
這事上報朝廷後，晉惠帝聽聞消息，也很是心疼百姓。
晉惠帝心念道：朕乃明君，天下百姓均是朕的子民，豈有棄之不顧的道理！
於是他絞盡腦汁冥思苦想，終於想出一個好法子，堪稱千古絕妙之計！
他曰：“百姓既已無糧可食，何不食肉糜？”
亦即，大哉問：「天下百姓為何不吃肉粥呢？」
下官們拱手鞠躬：“真乃明君也。”
“何不食肉糜”由此傳開，晉惠帝也因此名留千古。
