曾經，有一個賣花的小姑娘在賣完大部分的玫瑰花之後，把手上剩下的一朵玫瑰花送給了路邊的乞丐。
這個乞丐從來沒有想過，會有美女給自己送花，也許乞丐從來沒有用心愛過自己，也沒有接受過別人的愛。
於是他做了一個決定，當天不行乞了，回家！
回家之後，他找出一個瓶子把玫瑰花養起來，然後把花放在桌子上靜靜的欣賞。
他突然間覺得，這麼漂亮的花怎麼能隨意插在這麼髒的瓶子上，所以他決定把瓶子洗乾淨，這樣才配得上這麼美麗的玫瑰！
做完之後，他又感覺這麼漂亮的花和這麼乾淨的瓶子怎麼能放在這麼髒亂的房間裡呢？
於是他把整個房間打掃一遍，把所有的物品擺放整齊。
突然間，整個房間因為有了這朵玫瑰花的映射，而變的溫馨起來！
他彷彿忘記了自己所在何處，正在陶醉時，突然發現鏡中反射出一個蓬頭垢面的人，他沒想到自己居然是這個樣子，這樣的人有什麼資格與玫瑰相伴呢？
於是，他立刻去洗了幾年來唯一洗過的，也是第一次澡！
洗完之後找出幾件雖然顯得有點舊，但稍微乾淨的衣服，刮完鬍子之後，把自己從頭到腳整理了一番，然後再照照鏡子，他發現一個從未有過的年輕帥氣的臉出現在鏡子中！
他覺得自己也很不錯，為什麼要去當乞丐呢？
這是他當乞丐以來第一次這樣問自己，他的靈魂在瞬間覺醒了。
其實我也很不錯，再看看房間中的一切，再看看這朵美麗的玫瑰，他當下立刻做出了一個人生中最重要的決定，第二天不再當乞丐而是去找工作。
因為他不怕髒和累，所以他很順利找到了一份工作，
或許是因為他心中盛開的玫瑰花激勵著他，隨著他的不懈努力，幾年後他成了一個非常有成就的企業老闆！
那不是一朵玫瑰，而是一份希望，
一份對人生的美好希望，一份對美好未來的新的希望！
地獄、還是天堂，僅僅一牆之隔，只要相信自己，不放棄自己，心中有夢想、有目標、有希望，人生隨時可以被改寫！
