「借光」的由來
惟雯說故事
《戰國策•秦策》記載，在長江下游地區的一條支流兩邊，住著很多人家。
而這些人家中的姑娘們，為了改善生活，總是在晚上湊到一起做針線活兒。
其中，有一位姑娘家境貧寒，買不起燈燭，其餘的姑娘嫌棄她，說她愛占小便宜，所以總是不想和她在一起。
這位姑娘就對大家說：
“我雖然買不起燈燭，但是我每晚先來，把屋子打掃乾淨，把坐席鋪設整齊，讓大家一來就能舒適地做活，這對你們多少也有些方便。你們的燈反正是要點的，借給我一點光又有什麼損失呢？”
姑娘們覺得她的話有道理，便讓她留下來了。
後來，“借光”一詞便成為人們之間，尋求幫助的禮貌性用語。
