酒之禪機

北宋大文豪蘇東坡有一次到大相國寺拜訪他的好友佛印和尚，恰值佛印外出，蘇東坡就先在禪房住下。
他無意中看到了禪房牆壁上留有一首佛印題的詩，其詩云：
酒色財氣四堵牆，
人人都在裡面藏；
誰能跳出圈外頭，
不活百歲壽也長 。
蘇東坡看見後，另有所思，就提起筆來，在佛印的詩旁邊附和了一首，
他寫的是：
飲酒不醉是英豪，
戀色不迷最為高；
不義之財不可取，
有氣不生氣自消 。
寫完後，蘇東坡次日就離去了。
某一日，宋神宗趙頊在王安石的陪同下，來到大相國寺遊覽，他們看到了佛印和蘇東坡的題詩，感到頗為有趣……
於是神宗就對王安石說：愛卿，你何不也和一首？
王安石才高八斗，隨即應命，揮毫舞墨，寫道：
無酒不成禮儀，
無色路斷人稀；
無財民不奮發，
無氣國無生機 。
宋神宗大為激賞，也乘興題寫了一首，他寫的是：
酒助禮樂社稷康，
色育生靈重綱常；
財足糧豐家國盛，
氣凝太極定陰陽 。
這是一組關於酒色財氣的妙趣橫生的故事，由於作詩的人所處的立場和格局不同，對於同樣的「酒色財氣」四種事物也就產生了截然不同的評價和意境。
佛印和尚的詩從証悟佛家之「空性」來談，提倡完全和酒色財氣相絕緣，出離世間，是佛家的出世思路，是內聖之法門。
而蘇東坡的詩則強調對待酒色財氣的關鍵是把握一個度，即「中庸之道」。是從儒家個人修身方面來談，也屬於內聖之法。
王安石和宋神宗則從酒色財氣對國家社稷的積極正面作用方面來談，肯定了酒色財氣中所蘊含的積極因素，一個是賢相的眼界，一個是王者的格局。
這就是每個人各自認知的不同之道。所以天地萬物沒有對錯，只是我們認知的角度各自不同！

Today, I went to the beach front with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year
old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to her ear
and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is entirely off topic but I had
to tell someone!
