張小燕小姐曾感慨的說﹕「人在幸福的時候，幾乎都不會覺得自己幸福。」
台灣這幾十年，除了幾個天災，沒有戰亂、沒有太大政局不穩，比起很多國家都好。
外國朋友來，都很喜歡台灣，覺得台灣好好玩，很方便又安全。
所有的好集中在這裡，所以才有台灣奇蹟，但我們卻不太惜福。
我們看自己都是問題，這樣怎麼會覺得幸福、快樂？
我訪問過張曼娟，她說，「我常常在最幸福的時候，覺得最恐慌，因為我怕幸福一下子就不見了。」這句話我印象深刻。
我想，最可怕的是，你最幸福的時候，恐怕還不知道此時此刻可能是最幸福，還拚命抱怨。
我特別珍惜存在的每個時刻。
每一天，我只要進了我家車庫，走上樓，狗狗一舔我，打開電視，就很幸福了。
我看到好電影，也覺得很幸福。這是我能幹這一行的優點，我很能感受每個人精心創作所要傳達的感受。
像現在聽的Adele（此時放的音樂是艾黛兒的《Don’t You Remember》），我買她的ＤＶＤ回來，把家裡的燈關掉，就好像在現場一樣，很能洗滌煩亂的心。我很喜歡這些小小的感動、大大的感動。
我一直覺得，能夠在心中有感動，是很重要的能力，沒有感動，就沒有幸福。現在的孩子，要讓他們懂得感覺、感動、感觸，去touch，才會有幸福感。
我們不該不惜福，這是人生很重要的功課。
人要失去了，才懂得珍惜，為什麼不能在有的時候，就很珍惜？
當我先生告訴我他得癌症的時候，我記得我看著窗外，腦子裡想到我的好日子沒有了。因為要開始治療，就算醫好，也會害怕復發，永遠處在恐慌中。最受傷的是對我好的人我和我先生感情很好，他住院的時候，我四個月沒有走出台大，都住在醫院裡面。
他走了以後，我記得我走出醫院，朋友送我上車。
我說，「我要幹嘛？我回家幹嘛？」
大家都哭了，我沒有掉眼淚，我哭不出來。
當時我媽非常不放心，所有的人都怕我發生什麼事情。
後來我想，我如果不好好過日子，最受傷的是對我最好的人。
我那時多想著別人，很快就回公司、做唱片，接了「小燕有約」的節目。
只有在電視上出現，大家才會覺得我沒有問題了。
我讓自己的生活回到軌道上，所以得到最大救贖的是我自己，因為很多人在痛苦中走不出來，很難打開那個結。
現在覺得，想吃什麼就去吃什麼，想買雙小鞋就買雙小鞋，這都是小小的滿足和幸福。
前幾天，我和朋友就在app上，相約去永康街一日遊。下午吃東西，買些小飾品，坐在咖啡館吃提拉米蘇，在街上看人，就覺得很幸福。
我擔不擔心錢？每個人擔心錢的標準不一樣。
你說我不擔心錢嗎？唱片公司還在賠錢。
你覺得郭台銘不擔心錢嗎？他擔心的可能是以億計算的。這樣看，他缺的錢不是我們能想像的。
每個人需要錢的壓力和份量，是不一樣的。
最重要的是，要根據自己的能力，去找能讓你幸福的事情。
想幸福，就要有執行力，做一點是一點；
做，就有一分，光想不做，連一分都沒有。
自己的幸福自己找，不要抱怨為什麼不幸福、不快樂。
沒有人該給你快樂。你要付出，才會有成果。
這好像很教條，但卻很真實。

Today, I went to the beach with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed.
