惟雯說故事
一家鐵路公司有一位調車人員尼克，他工作認真，做事負責。
不過他有一個缺點，就是他對人生很悲觀，常以否定的眼光去看世界。
有天鐵路公司的職員都趕著去給老闆過生日，大家都提早急急忙忙的走了。不巧的是，尼克不小心被關在一個待修的冰櫃車裡。
尼克在冰櫃拚命敲打著、喊著，全公司的人都走了，根本沒有人聽得到。
尼克的手掌敲得紅腫，喉嚨叫得沙啞，也沒人理睬，最後只得頹然的坐在地上喘息。
他愈想愈害怕，心想：冰櫃的溫度只有華氏零度，如果再不出去一定會被凍死。他只好用發抖的手，找了筆紙，寫下遺書。
第二天早上，公司的職員陸續來上班。
他們打開冰櫃，赫然發現尼克倒在地上。
他們將尼克送去急救，已沒有生命跡象。
但是大家都很驚訝，因為冰櫃的冷凍開關並沒有啟動，這巨大的冰櫃也有足夠的氧氣。
更令人納悶的是，櫃本的溫度一直是華氏六十一度，但尼克竟然給「凍」死了！
尼克並非死於冰櫃的溫度，他是死於心中的冰點。
他已給自己判了死刑，又怎麼能夠活得下去呢?
信心是一種心境，有信心的人不在轉瞬間消沈沮喪。
試問我們在日常生活中處事時，是否也常否定了自己的能力，
以致於錯失了許多嘗試突破自己的機會呢？
打敗你的，不是外在環境，而常是你的心。
