斜槓族

斜槓族是指具多重職業、彈性就業人士，亦稱作Slash族 ，指一種出自美國紐約專欄作家Marci Alboher暢銷書《不能只打一份工︰多重壓力下的職場求生術》中的一種工作態度，具體意指現今年輕人不再滿足於專一職業的工作模式，而選擇有多重職業及身份的生活。
這些斜槓族擔任兩份或以上的專業工作，又或在某一行業得到相當成就時轉往另一行業發展。
「斜槓」一詞則源自《紐約時報》專欄作家麥瑞克•阿爾伯撰寫的書籍《雙重職業》。阿爾伯說，「越來越多年輕人不再滿足於專一職業的生活方式，選擇以擁有多重職業和身分的多元生活。」
這些人用斜槓(Slash，/)來介紹其一連串的頭銜或身分。
斜槓青年的工作模式多數是遠距工作，相對自由和有彈性，他們比較重視自己的時間，希望自己時間自己掌握。當中不少是從事藝術、文字、音樂創作的人，當然亦不乏專業人士成為斜槓族，例如會計師/瑜伽導師，老師/攝影師等等。
斜槓族的好處︰
1、自由度高
不少工種工時都是朝八晚五又或者朝九晚六，需要在早上起床工作，但其實不少年青人都不喜歡工作時間被限制在早上，更樂於在晚上工作，覺得自己的頭腦在晚上更加清晰，思緒更清楚，寧願用早上的時間睡覺。
斜槓青年就是響往這種可以任意控制工作時間的工作，更可以在工作之間隨意加插與朋友聚會等活動。
而斜槓族的工作地點同樣沒有限制，不需要在特定的辦公室工作，你可以到你喜歡的咖啡廳又或者在效外都可以，能夠隨意選擇你喜愛的地方作為工作地點。
2、富有挑戰性
若果你是全職受聘於某間公司，在兩、三個月後你會開始熟習工作模式，因為工作的內容都是差不多。但對斜槓族而言，每次接到的工作都是全新的挑戰，而且可能涉及不同的範疇，亦要面對不同的人，所以每天都充滿挑戰。
3、可發揮潛能
相信有不少人都有在大專所就讀的科目並不是他本身所喜愛的範籌，而是因為想「入大學」而選擇了一些分數較低的科目。
而做斜槓族就正正可以發揮潛能，可以同時發展自己的長處，以自己本身的興趣去賺取金錢，亦可以同時為自己儲蓄更多作品。
斜槓族的壞處︰
因為大多斜槓族是自僱人士，所以不受《僱傭條例》及《職業介紹所規例》所保護，所以斜槓族不少的壞處都是由此衍生。
1、收入不穩定
斜槓族的工作來源有可能是兼職、臨時工又或者是炒散這種工作，普遍都比較沒有持續性，而是單次性。而斜槓族本身就十分難去確定工作的源頭，令每個月的工作量以及收入都不穩定，月與月之間的收入可能有很大的差別。
2、被拖糧
拖糧可說是不少斜槓族會面對的問題。一般而言，公司需要在在工資期屆滿後又或僱傭合約終止後7天內支付工資，但因為大多 Freelance 合作都不會簽署《僱傭條例》，變成僱主敢於拖糧的原因，亦難以向勞工處求助，只能循法律途徑追討賠償，不過就要要花費大量時間和金錢。
因此，斜槓族應好好保留所有兩者溝通的書面記錄，必要時可成為佐證。
3、沒有福利
同樣地，由於沒有簽署《僱傭條例》，斜槓族無退休金、最低工資、勞工保險等保障。且公司的種種福利，都與斜槓無關。
