幸齡者是一種心態

若每個人都把80歲以上的老人稱為“幸齡者”，而不是“高齡者”，那這個社會就實在太溫暖、太棒了。
其實，成為一個“幸齡者”主要就是「心態」要保持樂天知命，平常心地吃飯、休閒、運動、睡眠，否則就幾乎跟“高齡者”沒有差別。
按照這個觀點，“幸齡者”並不需要成為藥罐子。
例如老年人也不需要經常吃安眠藥。上了年紀睡眠時間減少是自然現象，沒有人會因為失眠而死亡。一天24小時，想睡就睡、想起床就起床，這是“幸齡者”獨有的特權。
另外，老年人普遍擔心的膽固醇值，即使高到一定程度也不用擔心。因為膽固醇是人體生成免疫細胞的原料。免疫細胞多，老年人患癌症的風險就會降低。另外，男性荷爾蒙的一部分也是由膽固醇構成的。如果膽固醇值過低，男性的身心健康將無以為繼。
同樣，血壓高一點也沒有關係。50多年前，人類普遍營養不良。所以，血壓達到150左右時，血管就會破裂。但現在很少有人營養不良，所以即使血壓超過200也不會導致血管破裂。
總之，想成為“幸齡者”的秘訣總結為“44句話”，請身體力行如下：
1、多喝水，想吃什麼、就吃什麼
2、每天大口吃飯、大口呼吸，咀嚼的次數越多，身體和大腦就越有活力
3、堅持每天散步，運動以身體不會感到僵硬為宜
4、無論如何，不要一直足不出戶，曬太陽會讓人開心
5、記憶力衰退不是因為年齡的增長，而是因為長期不使用大腦
6、獨處時間多了並不代表寂寞，而是享受自己輕鬆的時光
7、只做喜歡做的事，不做討厭做的事，做開心的事最有利於提升大腦的活性
8、想說什麼就說什麼，不必有太多顧慮
9、停止學習就會變老
10、欲望是長壽的源泉，以樂天派的狀態活著
學習對於以上這些秘訣，讓自己成為一個「幸福高齡者」。
