他是個愛家的男人。
他縱容她婚後仍保有著一份自己喜愛的工作，他縱容她週末約同事回家打通宵的麻將，他縱容她擁有不下廚的壞習慣，他縱容她在半夜挑逗那已沉睡的身軀，他始終都扮演著一個好男人的典範。
她第一次懷疑他，是從一把鑰匙開始。
他原有四把鑰匙，樓下大門、家裡的兩扇門以及辦公室等四把，不知從何時起他口袋裡多了一把鑰匙。
她曾試探過他，但他支支吾吾閃爍不定的言詞，令她更加的懷疑這把鑰匙的用途。
她開始有意無意的電話追蹝，偶爾出現在他辦公室，名為接他下班實為突擊檢查，她開始將工作擺在第二位，週末也不再約同事回家打牌，還買了一堆烹飪的錄影帶和食譜，想專心的做個好老婆，可是一切似乎太遲了。
他愈來愈沉默，愈來愈不讓她懂他心裡想什麼，常常獨自一個人在半夜醒來，坐在陽台上吹了整夜的風，他變得不大說話，精神有點恍惚，有一次居然連公事包都沒帶就去上班，他真的變了很多，唯一沒有變的是他對她的溫柔和體諒，但她的猜疑始終沒有稍減。
在日以繼夜的追查下，她終於發現那把鑰匙的用途，是用來開啟銀行保險箱的，於是她悄悄的偷出了那把鑰匙，進了銀行。
當鑰匙一寸一寸的伸進那小孔，她慌張又急迫想知道答案的謎題揭曉了。首先映入眼簾的是一個珠寶盒，她深深的吸了一口氣，緩緩的打開盒蓋，然後，心裡甜甜的笑了起來：「這個傻瓜。」
那是他們兩人第一次合照的相片。
照片之後是一疊情書，算一算一共28封，全是她在熱戀時期寫給他的，這個時候甜蜜是她臉上唯一的表情。
珠寶盒底下是一些有價證券，有價證券底下是份遺囑，她心想：「待會兒出去一定要罵一罵他，才三十出頭立什麼遺囑。」
雖然如此，她還是很在意那份遺囑的內容。
她翻開封面，內容寫著XXX陽明山的別墅和存款的百分之二十留給父母，存款的百分之十給大哥，有價證券的百分之三十捐給老人機構，其餘所有的動產、不動產都寫著一個名字。
她哭了，因為那個名字不是別人，正是她自己。
所有的疑慮都煙消雲散，他是愛她的，而且如此忠誠。
正當她收拾起所有感動，準備回家為他籌豐盛晚宴時，突然，一個信封從兩疊有價證券裡掉下來。
那個已經褪去的猜疑，又復萌了。
她迅速的抽出信封裡的那張紙，是一張診斷書，在姓名欄處她看到了先生的名字，而診斷欄上是四個比刀還利的字—「骨癌中期」。
每個人心裡都有一扇門，那扇門的名字叫『懷疑』，而『愛』是那扇門唯一的鑰匙。唯有真愛，可以永遠鎖住那扇『懷疑』的門。
