惟雯說故事
一名婦女發現三位蓄著花白鬍子的老者坐在她家門口。
她不認識他們，就說：“我不知道你們是什麼人，但各位也許餓了，請進來吃些東西吧。”
三位老者問道：“男主人在家嗎？”
她回答：“不在，他出去了。”
老者們答到：“那我們不能進去。”
傍晚時分，妻子在丈夫到家後，向他講述了所發生的事。
丈夫說：“快去告訴他們我在家，請他們進來。”
妻子出去請三位老者進屋。
但他們說：“我們不能一起進屋。”
其中一位老者指著身旁的兩位解釋：“這位的名字是財富，那位叫成功，而我的名字是健康。”
接著，他又說：“現在回去和你丈夫討論一下，看你們願意我們當中的哪一個進去。”
妻子回去將此話告訴了丈夫。
丈夫說：“我們讓財富進來吧，這樣我們就可以黃金滿屋啦！”
妻子卻不同意：“親愛的，我們還是請成功進來更妙！”
他們的女兒在一旁傾聽。她建議：“請健康進來不好嗎？這樣一來我們一家人身體健康，就可以幸福地享受生活、享受人生了！”
丈夫對妻子說：“聽我們女兒的吧。去請健康進屋做客。”
妻子出去問三位老者：“敢問哪位是健康？請進來做客。”
健康起身向她家走去，另外兩人也站起身來，緊隨其後。
妻子吃驚地問財富和成功：“我只邀請了健康。為什麼兩位也隨同而來？”
兩位老者道：“健康走到什麼地方，我們就會陪伴他到什麼地方，因為我們根本離不開他，如果你沒請他進來，我們兩個不論是誰進來，很快就會失去活力和生命，所以，我們在哪裡都會和他在一起的！”
