例如中國古代的驛道，每隔一段距離，便有一個亭子。
這些亭子是做什麼用的呢？
我們先來看看這個「停」字——「人」和「亭」靠在一起，便成了「停」。
「停」：暫時的停下，是為了更好地前行。
古人在驛道旁建造亭子，是為了讓人們暫時停下疲累的腳步，在「停」中補充體力、蓄積精神，好讓後面的路走得更輕鬆、更快捷。
「停」，是為了「休息是為了走更遠的路」，這就是「停」字中的人生智慧。
如同「忙」：忙著趕路，就把心給丟了。
一個行色匆匆忙著的人，往往是一個無「心」之人。
忙中出錯、忙中出亂，就是因為忙著忙著就把「心」給丟了。
一個不帶著「心」、無「心」做事的人，如何不會犯錯出亂？
適當的「停」—靜下來，讓「心」回來，人才會安寧，人生才會從容。
