有一群商人到芝加哥開會前，他們都跟自己的太太保證「一定可以趕在星期五傍晚前回家吃晚飯」。
當他們在芝加哥機場趕著登機時，其中一個人在匆忙下，不慎推倒了正在擺賣蘋果的攤販，蘋果隨即散滿全地；可是，他們並沒有停下來，甚至沒有回頭看望一下，因為飛機快要飛了，他們不想錯過登機時間。
突然，其中一位商人停下來，深深吸了一口氣，聆聽著源自內心神聖的呼喚，嘗試設身處地想像那位攤販被人倒翻了所有蘋果的感受。他決定留下來，與同事們道別，並囑咐他們跟他太太解釋，然後回去看看那位攤販。
他慶幸自己的決定是對的，因為那攤販原來是一位失明的十六歲女孩！
她正在一邊哭泣，一邊慌忙地摸索那些散落一地的蘋果。
路人全都繞道而過，無人停下，也無人關心她的處境。
這位商人蹲下身來幫她拾起所有蘋果，放回籃裡，並為她整理貨攤。
他發現很多蘋果已經顯得「傷痕累累」，就把所有弄壞了的蘋果放在一旁，然後從口袋裡拿出二百元給女孩：「這是賠償那些弄壞了的蘋果，你沒事吧？」女孩在淚光中點點頭。
商人繼續說：「希望我們沒有令你太傷心。」
當商人起身要離開時，卻聽到女孩說：「先生……」
女孩繼續說，請問「你是耶穌嗎？」
他停了下來，回頭望著那雙目失明的女孩。
他猶豫了一會，然後慢慢離開，改乘下一班機回家，心裡仍然被那個問題困擾著：「你是耶穌嗎？」
有沒有人曾經因為你的善行而誤會你是耶穌？
這就是基督徒的使命嗎？
活得像耶穌，好使他人從我們身上認出我們是基督徒，然後影響那些看不見祂的大愛、生命和恩寵的人。
認識天父不光是熟稔聖經經文和星期天去教堂那麼簡單，任何教理也應該要活出與救恩相稱的生命，天父自會在我們的努力中給予幫助的。
請問：「你是耶穌嗎？」
