吃小紅莓具有很多食療的功用,好處如下:
■小紅莓(蔓越莓)味道有點酸,但是含有豐富之維他命A、維他命C、維他命E、初花色素 (或稱濃縮單寧酸)、磷、兒茶素 (Catechin) 等多種營養素。
■小紅莓富含抗氧化的多酚類物質,對人體具有非常好的抗氧化、抗菌及淨化效益。近年來的研究更發現,小紅莓所富含抗氧化的多酚類物質,適當服用可增強免疫系統,對尿道炎及膀胱炎等泌尿器官疾病有效。若是已得尿道感染疾病,將有快速改善病情的效果。
■小紅莓所富含抗氧化的多酚類物質,適當服用,也可以預防心血管疾病。
■資料也顯示,小紅莓(蔓越莓)還可以有效抑制幽門螺旋桿菌附著於腸胃內。(幽門螺旋桿菌就是導致胃潰瘍、甚至胃癌發生的主因)。
■飲用小紅莓(蔓越莓)汁可對人體提供類似天然抗生素的保護作用,專家建議一天可喝一杯蔓越莓汁。
