有一對夫妻，常因為見解不同而爭執。
有一天他們又為了一些小事爭得面紅耳赤，只好來到教會找牧師協助。
牧師把他們帶到一面鏡子前，問他們看到了什麼？
他們都回答：「看到了自己。」
牧師又拉著他們走到窗戶旁，問他們看到什麼？
他們都回答：「看到美麗的藍天，看到公園的草地，看到男男女女走來走去。」
牧師語重心長地說：「如果你們把彼此當鏡子，一心要求對方和你一樣，爭執自然會發生；如果你們都把對方當窗子，認知到彼此的不同，反而可以看到許多意想不到的美景。」
不僅你的配偶是你的窗子，你的同事、朋友，也都是你的窗子。
不用期待他們和你一樣，因為每個人都是獨一無二的，如同每片葉子都不相同。當你改變一直以來的期待，你就能體會到用不同角度來思維，人生將增添許多樂趣，而不是產生無謂的爭執。
您身邊的人，是面鏡子，還是個窗子？
一個轉念，不但是一種自由，更是一種喜悅。
不要當生命結束的時候，還不知道人生是怎麼一回事。
