一、有時，我們只能平靜地接受！
一個農民從洪水中救起了他的妻子，他的孩子卻被淹死了。
事後，人們議論紛紛。
有的說他做得對，因為孩子可以再生一個，妻子卻不能死而復活。
有的說他做錯了，因為妻子可以另娶一個，孩子卻不能死而復活。
這是一個兩難的取捨：如果只能救活一人，究竟應該救妻子呢，還是救孩子？
於是，我去拜訪那個農民，問他當時是怎麼想的？
他卻答道：”我什麼也沒想。洪水襲來，妻子在我身過，我抓住她就往附近的山坡跑。當我返回時，孩子已經被洪水沖走了。”
歸途上，我琢磨著農民的話，對自己說：所謂人生的抉擇，不少便是如此。
在我們人生的決策上，答案往往不是0或1的二分法取捨。
有時，我們是沒有選擇的，我們只能全力以赴，而老天爺早已做了取捨!
我們只能平靜地接受！
二、過不了的河，也是人生
有一位老和尚，他身邊有著一群虔誠的弟子。
這一天，他囑咐弟子每人去南山各打一擔柴回來。
弟子們匆匆行至離山不遠的河邊，卻人人目瞪口呆。
因為，只見洪水從山上奔瀉而下，無論誰也休想渡河打柴了。
由於無功而返，每個弟子們都有些垂頭喪氣。
此時，唯獨一個小和尚與師傅坦然相對。
師傅問其故，小和尚從懷中掏出一個蘋果，遞給師傅吃。
並說：由於過不了河、打不了柴，見河邊有棵蘋果樹，我就順手把樹上唯一的一個蘋果摘回來了。
後來，這位小和尚成了師傅的衣缽傳人。
其實，人生旅途中，總有走不完的路，也會遇到過不了的河。
過不了的河掉頭而回，也是一種智慧。
但真正的智慧，是領悟生命豁達的意義，
例如，你可以在河邊做一件事情：放飛思想的風箏，或摘下一個”蘋果”，讓自己不虛此行。
