一個小姐騎著摩托車經過一座菜市場，恰巧前方迎面而來一位提著菜籃的老太太，因為巷道實在太窄，所以摩托車的把手勾到了老太太的菜籃，菜籃應聲掉落。
小姐回頭看了一眼，看到菜籃雖掉到了地上，但裡頭的菜並沒有掉落出來，以為沒事，便回過頭來準備離去。
豈料，這時老太太說話了：「小姐！妳的東西掉了！」
小姐真以為自己掉了什麼東西，敢忙停下車來焦急地問道：「我掉了什麼東西了？」
老太太說：「你掉了做人應有的禮貌！」
