很多人都有同樣疑問—-過敏體質如何處理?
一、多吃含生物類黃酮較多的水果
改善過敏體質，一般醫生的專業建議是用維他命C加生物類黃酮與槲黃素之類的天然藥物。很可惜台灣找不到這類高品質的天然藥物，很多病人想治過敏，卻猶如巧婦難為無米之炊。
其實，我們可轉向天然食物求取。
專家曾對台灣各類水果做調查，看看哪一種水果的維他命C、生物類黃酮最多，但卻不含太多纖維糖份或其他干擾前述成份吸收的物質。
答案是﹕『生物類黃酮最多的水果是—百香果和鳳梨』
首先，百香果被評鑑為第一名，百香果除了種子以外，就是又香、又酸、稍甜的濃縮果汁，黃色是類黃酮的顏色，沒有其他纖維或果肉，實在是最天然的高濃度消炎天然藥物。
其次，鳳梨的維他命C與生物類黃酮也很多，雖然果肉纖維糖份稍多，但它富含鳳梨酵素，所以也是很好的選擇。
所以，如果有皮膚過敏、鼻子過敏、氣喘、中耳炎等過敏現象的人，建議可從每天吃百香果試試。
從1天4顆開始試試，4顆要分開來吃，不要1次吃完，【可以吃到1天8顆也OK。】這是因為過敏是一種慢性發炎，而蔬果含的消炎物質，可以很輕鬆就把過敏體質的問題治好。
另外，有人問吃西瓜能否取代百香果，中醫師說不行。
因為西瓜太寒，而過敏體質的人有70% 屬於寒性體質，若吃太多寒性水果，症狀反而會惡化，而百香果和鳳梨沒那麼寒，屬於涼性，接近平性，所以較適合推薦給大家食用。
二、順應四季變化、改變生活作息及飲食方法
長庚醫院中醫內科部主任楊賢鴻指出，過敏患者要順應四季變化、改變生活作息及飲食方法，遵循大自然的養生法則，才能常保健康。
楊賢鴻表示，從中醫的角度看，過敏性患者的體質多偏向虛寒，過敏性鼻炎患者平時吃太多寒性食物時，打噴嚏、鼻塞或擤鼻涕的症狀也相對較嚴重。因此過敏體質病患應少吃寒性食物，多吃溫熱食物，從飲食上調整，對於疾病的治療及體質調理有很大的幫助。
過敏病患可以多吃八種能改善過敏的食物，如：深色的蔬菜水果、黑豆、桂圓、蔥、薑、乳酸菌、低過敏配方奶粉、及富含多醣體的食品。
楊賢鴻主任表示，目前有許多中草藥證實可有效治療過敏，例如：人參、辛夷、黃耆、黨參、淫羊霍、紫蘇葉、巴戟天、肉蓯蓉、薄荷葉、白芷，可改善氣喘；當歸、苦參根、魚腥草、荊芥、防風、羌活、金蟬、薏苡仁可改善蕁麻疹；地膚子、白鮮皮、桂枝、艾葉、葛根、辛夷、蒼朮則適用於異位性皮膚炎，但民眾最好經過中醫師的辨證再使用。
三、避開七大類易引起過敏的食物
另外，楊賢鴻主任表示，吃錯食物往往是導致過敏加劇的元凶，他建議過敏患者少碰七大類易引起過敏的食物，
如：海鮮、含人工食品添加物的食品、豆莢類（花生、大豆等）、核果類（核桃、腰果、杏仁等）、含咖啡因的食物（巧克力、可樂、茶等）、水果（芒果、草莓、番茄等）、及含酒精的飲料或菜餚。
