內容產業才是網路的終極應用

當網路資訊已泛濫、同質化，許多互聯網科技巨頭，如Facebook、谷歌的YouTube、亞馬遜等也開始回頭投資內容產業，創造優質內容增量。
一、科技巨頭進軍影音串流媒體的「內容產業」
1、Facebook發揮社交優勢，進軍短視頻內容領域
Facebook進軍影視劇備受矚目。例如Facebook推出一款名為“Watch”的原創電視節目平臺，以便讓用戶更容易地追劇，充分發揮社交優勢，讓創作者和出版商利用節目與粉絲和社區建立聯繫。Watch中的短視頻主要來自Facebook的內容合作夥伴A&E、Major League Baseball，以及National Geographic等。
Watch並充分發揮的社交優勢，將對展示的視頻進行分類，比如“最熱門視頻”和“好友正在觀看的視頻”等。用戶還可以在觀看節目時看到其他觀眾的評論，並且能與正在觀看同一節目的朋友互動。
在此App中，Facebook投資了部分原創內容，包括網路明星David Lopez出演的真人秀節目——“My Social Media Life”（我的社交媒體生活），以及“Great Cheese Hunt”（尋找美味乳酪），介紹媒體BI發現的全球最好吃的乳酪。
Facebook自己投資影視劇只是開始，今後更多視頻內容將由其他創作者生產。Facebook計畫讓製作者通過視頻中嵌入廣告、或推廣自己的內容來獲取收益。
Facebook希望通過社交優勢贏得市場，鼓勵對視頻進行評論和分享。運用社交的特點，可以讓Facebook的視頻應用與眾不同。
Facebook是目前全球使用者規模最大的互聯網公司，用戶量超過30億，如今其重金參與原創視頻製作，對Netflix、亞馬遜、Hulu等佈局影視行業的公司帶來不小衝擊。
2、迪士尼推出disney+ 串流影視服務
迪士尼的串流影視服務 Disney + 推出，引起了市場的興奮。因迪士尼在串流影視內容豐富，加上與 Verizon 和亞馬遜簽訂通路協議，可望帶動更多的訂閱人數。
3、蘋果也砸10億美元打造原創節目
為爭奪移動互聯網流量，蘋果公司也進軍好萊塢，已斥資約10億美元的預算用於購買和製作原創節目，拉動其iTunes視頻服務。2019年11月1日，蘋果推出串流平台，串流媒體正式進入戰國時代。
因為蘋果本身成熟的行銷能力和全球影響力，立馬成為眾公司眼中實力強勁的競爭者。尤其10億美元的預算是時代華納公司的HBO電視臺去年在電視內容上花費的一半；與亞馬遜在2013年進入原創節目之後當年的節目花費相當。
而且，蘋果公司渴望加強其現有的視頻產業——iTunes上的電視節目和電影租賃訂閱，因為這些視頻訂閱服務現在不斷遭受到許多其他視頻服務終端的入侵。iTunes去年收入約為41億美元，不過其電影租賃訂閱服務的市場份額已從2012年的50％下降到不足35％。蘋果公司希望其今後打造的原創節目可以拉動iTunes的視頻服務吸引力，該服務與蘋果應用商店銷售、Apple Pay和蘋果音樂緊密相連，所以是服務業務的關鍵點。
二、移動直播行業也終將回歸到「內容為王」
2016年，「移動直播」在網路圈掀起了一波浪潮，快速奪得所有人的眼球，成為一個新的網路內容平台。
挾著龐大社群基礎的Facebook，也從2016年第一季開始全面開放直播，積極搶分一杯羹，讓每個人都可以按下直播鍵，即時與你的朋友進行互動。
Facebook在坐擁近30億人的月活躍用戶基礎上，加上近八成的用戶來自行動端，Facebook跨入行動直播，可說是優勢十足。
而很多大陸用戶第一次在手機上看直播，還是用一款來自臺灣的產品“17直播”。“17直播”的投資開發者是歌手黃立行的兄長黃立成。這款兼具拍照加視頻直播功能的移動社交應用，在上線後很短時間內便引爆網路。
很多人玩“17直播”是為了打發時間或與陌生人交友。
也有人說，17火是因為“迎合了手機螢幕前大批寂寞的靈魂”。
還有人更直接，“完全是為了看裡面的美女全裸豔舞”。
而大陸本土移動直播市場，一開場也即是高潮。
2014年初，最先動起來的是鬥魚，也奠定了今日的頭部地位。
2016年開年，映客也在周亞輝的“指導”下燒錢推廣。
2016年初是一個井噴期，突然冒出七八百家直播公司，有些專案僅僅還在做產品階段，就拿到了千萬級人民幣的天使融資。
大陸移動直播行業，從業者與投資者都體現在一個 “快”字。
在井噴期，所有直播公司都是粗放式發展，比拼的是速度、是執行力，不需要太多創新，只需要做好兩件事：一是把平臺搭起來，產品不要有bug（漏洞）、能跑起來就行，用戶體驗還顧不上；另一個就是花錢找主播，做推廣，把流量做大。
燒錢圈用戶，成為大陸移動直播公司殺敵制勝的不二法門。
刨去主播分成，映客、花椒等泛娛樂直播平臺最大的成本就是買流量，不僅包括線上的管道流量採買，還有線下的分眾廣告、影院映前廣告等。
而對於遊戲直播平臺而言，主播簽約費持續高漲，大約能占到總成本的三到四成。早期平臺之間的廝殺手段之一就是互挖牆腳，頭部主播們簽約就像國際球星轉會，簽約費接連報出天價。例如鬥魚曾在短短一個月內，連續從競爭對手手中挖了六名主播，總價超過6000萬元。
事實上，創業者都期待這些巨額開銷，能有創投投資人埋單。當然，在整個2016年，處於風口之下的直播公司融資都頗為順利。
但因資本烘抬，潮起即潮落。獲得資本助力的玩家很快殺出重圍，雄踞山頭。
但短短一年，浩浩蕩蕩的“千播大戰”已成過往雲煙，戰役規模倏而驟減到“百播”，甚至“十播”。在泛娛樂板塊，YY、映客、花椒、陌陌傲視群英，而遊戲台塊，鬥魚、虎牙、熊貓和觸手搶佔鼇頭。
而從2016年上半年突然冒出七、八百家直播公司，才一年多時間，只剩下不到兩百家，絕大部分都死掉了，也有一些轉成了經紀公司，自己不做直播運營了。相比于風口之初的喧囂，直播行業猝然歸於平靜。“海選混戰”已經結束，接下來是數家頭部公司的“殊死決鬥”。
「直播」本來多指電視台即時播放新聞事件，但隨著行動裝置與4G網路普及、技術門檻降低，掀起網路直播熱潮，各式各樣的直播app平台興起，最具代表性如Twitch、Meerkat、Periscope，台灣也有17、livehouse.in等等，大型平台像Facebook、YouTube也紛紛投入戰場。
直播的即時互動性吸引大量網友觀看、也製造出一批又一批「網紅」，從遊戲、表演音樂才藝、美女大胃王吃飯都讓許多人看得津津有味。
移動直播之所以能在2015年爆發，是因為移動互聯網的基礎設施在當時已非常成熟，包括頻寬、智慧手機滲透率、APP下載，以及手機上移動支付、打賞…等等。加上移動直播是對PC直播的傳承，不僅降低了參與門檻，即時互動，即開即關，而且觸碰到用戶內心深處的某種需求。
直播只是一個變現工具，但此商業模式由於不存在技術壁壘，幾乎任何產品都可以加入直播，競爭對手也能很快跟上，最後只能大舉燒錢圈用戶。
總之，直播這個工具本身不是最重要的，最終還是要看直播的產品能提供什麼價值。有價值的產品直播才能建立起社群、有流量、才能通過直播手段來變現的產品。所以移動直播行業最終必將回歸到「內容為王」。
網路直播也被喻為「壓垮電視新聞的最後一根稻草」，潛力無限。
因為，直播正在改變的，是溝通的形式—-這個工具就可能會是LIVE，LIVE can be everywhere，也會有越來越多的業者，投入這種新的溝通形式。
所以，直播的核心不在於科技或是技術，而是內容。最終，還是要回到平台的內容豐富度上。亦即，直播能不能在市場上占有一席之地，最終還是會回歸到內容之爭。
很快地，移動直播後來又轉型即時視頻社交，再編一個新故事撈錢….。
三、內容產業存量資源的你爭我奪
內容產業在短期內的增量是有限，因此，當期增量資源開發有限時，剩下的就一定是存量資源的你爭我奪。
1、增量有限下的存量掠奪時代
當年，人人網頂著「中國的Facebook+Linkedin+Zynga+Groupon」概念赴美風光路演，並在紐交所一躍成為彼時市值僅次於騰訊和百度的大陸第三大互聯網公司時，似乎沒有人會預料到這座高塔的崩塌，會來得那麼快。
在人人網失利的同時，一家脫胎於傳統門戶的社交媒體（微博）、一家主張用工程師代替編輯的新聞用戶端（今日頭條）和一家比百度知道更加高級的問答社區（知乎），竟在數年之後，崛起成為大陸互聯網涇渭分明的三大流量分發平臺，並相互展開存量資源掠奪戰。
2、社交和媒體路線之爭
在2000年，Jack Dorsey希望能夠結合互聯網和短信功能向使用者提供分享即時狀態的服務，這也是140個字元上限的Twitter由來（移動運營商對於短信字元的限制是140個）。
可惜的是，該公司的投資者們考慮盈利問題，從Google找來一個專精於數字廣告業務的CEO——Twitter的運營方向也就從社交轉向媒體路線，它的利潤攀升，卻也不再獲得用戶增長。亦即，在社交和媒體兩種運營方向的選擇上，Twitter的新管理團隊選擇了媒體路線，也給了臉書機會。
有趣的是，在大陸的複刻產品（微博、頭條還有知乎），也做出了相同的選擇，但不僅沒有重演Twitter的慘案，反而在市值上異軍突起。
3、微信橫空出世，轉向社交場景搶內容增量
相對地，在微信橫空出世之後，大量的社交、通訊、互動的訴求，非常快地轉移到「微信」。此時，微博推出名為「密友」的同類產品，試圖挽回用戶。事實上，當時的微博，既有意的避開和微信比拼強社交關係的正面戰場，也不完全的如Twitter那樣執拗於塑造一個獨立媒體品牌。
微博曾因微信過於出類拔萃而驟然失去了戰鬥意志；還好微博在最需要資本支援的時候得到了阿里的垂青。但微博對時政話題的熱情和對公共知識份子的放大，卻招來了意想不到的監管重拳。總之，微博正在盡力成為一個最主流的內容消費平臺。這真不知道是該說天道酬勤，還是運氣真的太好。
4、今日頭條通過將內容商品化的方式，搶內容增量
幾乎是和微博重生的在同一時段，今日頭條也橫空出世。今日頭條即在提供極為關鍵的內容介面。從公然宣稱「演算法沒有價值觀」的那一刻開始，張一鳴就不再掩飾他作為一個行業公敵的存在感。
各媒體不喜歡今日頭條，因為它讓工程師淩駕於編輯之上，也間接的羞辱著專業主義和新聞理想，更重要的是，這麼一款沒有人情味的產品，卻能夠比那些澆築了情懷和信念的媒體容器更為吸引受眾。
從「千人萬元」的寫作計畫開始，今日頭條就不曾諱言它對補貼策略的青睞，這也構成了今日頭條破壞市場規則的某種指控，它總是試圖通過將內容商品化的方式縮短資源積累的路徑，同時又混淆著良幣與劣幣之間的界限，只是這種用錢擺平一切的手段縱然粗鄙，卻也的確有著揠苗助長的收效，所以同行一邊對著今日頭條滿腹怨言，一邊無不跟進了與其高度相似的補貼模式。
嘴上說著不要不要，可惜身體才是最誠實的。在Google的創建早期，它的很大一部分現金流都被用於那些致力於降低網站經營成本的非主營業務，比如收購Blogspot，向ICANN申請功能變數名稱註冊商資質，推出説明站長掙錢的廣告系統，甚至是涉足廉價光纖網路基建。Google還曾設想發射熱氣球提供Wi-Fi網路。其中的因果關係相當清晰：收錄網頁規模越大，索引需求就越高，而Google賴以為生的廣告業務，也就得以維持增長態勢。
對於今日頭條而言，這個道理是共通的，它必須在左側激勵足夠海量的內容生產，才有機會從右側賣掉足夠豐富的廣告庫存，所以從右側透支一定數額的預期收益到左側形成賞金，也就不足為奇。
5、內容產業存量資源的你爭我奪
近期，微博、頭條還有知乎這些原本各據一方相安無事的內容產品突然撞車，根本原因在增量資源瀕臨開發完畢，剩下的就一定是存量資源的你爭我奪。
當生存環境匱乏，哪怕是最溫順的綿羊，被趕進亂世之後，也未必不能成為兇猛的雄獅。這三個平臺將逐鹿內容行業——
微博：我有流量，還有粉絲，細水長流。
頭條：我有補貼，真金白銀，錢大說話。
知乎：我有社區，你問我答，源源不斷。
四、知識付費的新江湖
2016年後，知識付費興起後，原本屬於玩票性質的大V們，也開始嘗試變現之路。
而在知識付費的新江湖，作為輸出內容的大V，他們或者已經擁有了足夠的議價權，或者規則制定與其無關，平臺的橄欖枝反而多了一份收入來源。
頭部大V可以賺大錢，中部大V賺小錢，一般大V收支平衡。為了保證收入，一般的大V都會選擇多平臺輸出內容，這樣才能實現利益最大化，賺更多的錢。
目前，大V主要還是2B的模式，依靠廣告生存。雖然不同的內容大V，賺錢方式並不一樣，但如何擺脫單一的2B盈利模式是共同的難題。
據易觀資料，移動互聯網讓垂直化服務和個性化需求成為可能，加之以“知乎”為代表的線上知識型社區多年的運營沉澱，知識付費在知識共用，網生內容、移動直播…等風口產業交織的環境下應運而生。
2016年，“分答”以黑馬之勢攪動著知識付費的格局。據分答提供的其運營初期資料來看，上線42天，就擁有超過1000萬授權使用者，付費用戶超過100萬，33萬人開通答主頁面，產生50萬條語音問答，交易總金額超過1800萬元，複購率達到43%。
也是在2016年，知乎、豆瓣、今日頭條等平臺相繼入場，開設付費欄目。作為最大的知識問答社區，知乎也開始嘗試通過知識付費去維繫其頭部玩家，努力構建自己的護城河。
目前， 知乎Live 總參與人次是 335 萬，總場次是 4500 次，參與其中的大V超過 2000 人，大部分大V的時薪過萬，同時，知乎也為諸多用戶帶來超過 30萬的版稅收入。
目前，沒辦法去統計大V這個群體到底涵蓋多少人，每個平臺都不一樣。但每個平臺都渴望吸收大V去給平臺沉澱內容，同時啟動增量市場，打造自己的護城河，而大V也希望能借助平臺去實現變現。
這本質上是一場資本的博弈。對於平臺而言，出多少錢簽約大V取決於大V自身能帶來多少流量，以及大V輸出內容的議價權。同時，從大V角度而言，給不給平臺獨家也取決平臺所給出的報酬。
對於普通大V而言，目前最主要的還是應該想著如何提高內容議價權。目前，知識付費被炒的很熱，但事實上，這個賽道的容量並沒有那麼大。
本質上，大V還是2B的生意，要想做成2C，可能還是需要大規模的團隊運作，像李翔的《李翔商業內參》、羅振宇的《得到》，在知識付費領域，這兩個算是做的比較成功的。
五、「內容產業」長不如短
年關前，大陸多家大型互聯網公司都傳出了裁員的消息。而愛奇藝的裁員算是動作最大的，這家長視頻領域市場第一的互聯網公司裁員比例甚至有可能高達40%，年齡較大、薪水較高的員工，都有可能被裁。
愛奇藝的裁員，暗示長視頻網站終於撐不住了，因為，愛奇藝的年年巨額虧損，加起來7年虧掉400億了，股東也經不起這麼折磨。
2018年3月上市後，愛奇藝的市值曾經最高漲到315億美元。
而即便做到了長視頻市場第一，如同美國的Netflix，愛奇藝股價在2021年3月達到最近三年以來的高點27.7美元之後，就一路跌至目前的7美元以下，3/4的市值在短短8個月時間內灰飛煙滅。
愛奇藝現在市值只剩44億美元，也就比那些剛成立不久的互聯網新晉獨角獸高一點。如今市值都已經快跌到最高點的八分之一了。為何會這樣？
回顧愛奇藝成立後從未實現盈利。2015-2017年淨虧損分別為25.75億元、30.74億元和37.37億元，2018年虧損91億，2019年虧損103億元。
2016年至2020年，再加上2021年前三個季度，不到六年的時間，愛奇藝的融資活動現金流量淨額為529.1億元。
2020財年，愛奇藝總營收大幅上漲至297億元，而總支出卻高達367億，虧損雖然縮窄，但依然有70億元虧損。2021年前三季度，愛奇藝淨虧損也有43.43億元。也就是說從2015年到現在，愛奇藝總共虧損了401億元。雖然愛奇藝靠着不斷融資，賬面上還有一百多億資金，但按這個燒錢速度，愛奇藝也撐不了多久了。關鍵是商業模式被市場拋棄後，現在的愛奇藝要想再讓投資人買單，進行新的融資已經很難了。
愛奇藝一開始砸錢還想着壟斷市場後再漲價賺回來，但在收割果實前，卻被短視頻平台抖音、快手截了胡，不是網友不愛看視頻了，而是大家轉而看短視頻了。
現在把愛奇藝、騰訊視頻、優酷加起來都沒一個快手值錢，更不用說跟抖音比了。
長視頻賽道整個都走錯了。唯一的活路是網飛、芒果視頻那樣有獨立版權，不用花天價去買版權。愛奇藝的裁員，暗示長視頻網站被短視頻打敗，所以被時代拋棄。長視頻輸給了短視頻，即使做到了長視頻行業第一，愛奇藝也連生存都是問題。時代拋棄你的時候，不會有任何憐惜。愛奇藝的大裁員，宣告了長視頻時代的結束，短視頻完全統治了視頻行業。
那愛奇藝要如何自救？
1、沒有版權的長視頻網站，是沒有前途的。
回顧芒果視頻的盈利為愛奇藝指明了方向。同樣是長視頻網站，美國奈飛也活得很滋潤。歸根結底，還是要有自有版權的內容。
回顧長視頻網站的內容，不是花大錢自製、就是需要高價去買版權。
愛奇藝2021年6月末、9月末，付費會員總數分別為1.062億、1.036億，一個季度付費會員就減少了260萬。而抖音日活都超過6億人了，很明顯，用戶正在離開長視頻。而一個內容平台，內容的數量和質量決定了其生存價值。
2、大陸打擊盜版的問題必須能獲得解決。
大陸短片平台如抖音、快手受當地民眾熱烈喜愛，成千上萬的用戶在這些平台上看影片、直播和購物。
由於，抖音、快手上的內容來自用戶上傳，運營成本遠遠低於愛奇藝等長視頻網站。然而，這些短片很多是從其他節目、影劇剪輯而來，所以大陸已有超過70個企業或協會，要求這些平台移除侵權短片，提出警告的公司包括騰訊的騰訊視頻、阿里巴巴的優酷、愛奇藝等等。
由於短片平台的內容通常未經授權，上述企業呼籲平台立即清除任何未經授權的內容。他們還敦促平台加強內容審查，例如實施關鍵字過濾等等的措施，防止將來再出現侵權行為。
雖然愛奇藝、優酷等幾大視頻網站通過打擊盜版，把影視劇的版權費用抬到天價。但大陸的盜版問題還是沒有解決。尤其是短視頻的剪輯，愛奇藝花幾億買的一個影視劇的版權，第二天這部影視劇的素材就會出現在各種短視頻剪輯里。幾個小時的影視劇，短視頻只要幾分鐘就講得明明白白。
