全球流通業發展簡史之二

各種零售業態的興起，皆是為了因應人類社會對生活品質提昇的要求、與時俱進，並賦予時代的意義與印記。
三、烏瞰西方零售業的四次重大變革
在西方零售業發展史上，出現過四次重大的變革，分述如下：
（一）第一次零售變革：【百貨商店】的誕生
回顧傳統的城市零售店和鄉村雜貨店，店主不僅親自營業，而且自行負責人、錢、物的管理。
零售業的第一次重大變革，是以具有現代意義的【百貨商店】的誕生為標誌的。
學術界稱之為“現代商業的第一次革命”。
百貨商店的興起最早可以追溯到19世紀中葉的西方，是都市化進程的產物。
以當時的商業建築規模來看，多層樓建設技術是最先進的，在外觀的選用上也是最摩登的樣式，內部更是販售著當時所流行的時尚商品，一開幕便引起了極大的轟動。
【百貨商店】的銷售方式尤具劃時代意義，雖然現在來看只是一件十分平常的事情，但對當時傳統零售商來說，百貨商店已體現具有革新性的經營手法，諸如明碼標價和商品退換制度；店內裝飾豪華，顧客進出自由；店員服務優良，對顧客一視同仁；商場面積巨大，陳列商品繁多，便於顧客任意挑選；把許多商品按商品類別分成部門，並由部門來負責組織進貨和銷售；主要以生活用品為中心。
（二）第二次零售變革：【超級市場】的誕生
【超級市場】的產生背景為：
(1) 1929年席捲全球的經濟大恐慌，使得居民購買力嚴重不足
因此零售業採取節省人工成本的自助購物方式和薄利多銷的經營方針，實現了低廉的售價，因而受到當時被經濟危機困擾的廣大消費者歡迎。
(2)生活方式的變化，催生了超級市場。
二次大戰後，男丁折損太多，使越來越多的婦女參加了工作，當人們生活、工作節奏加快，加上城市交通擁擠，原有零售商店停車設施落後，許多消費者希望能到一家商場，停車一次，就購齊一周所需的食品和日用品，超級市場正是適應消費者的這種要求而產生的。
(3)技術進步，也為超級市場創造了條件。
製冷設備的發展為超級市場儲備各種生鮮食品提供了必要條件，包裝技術的完善為超級市場中的顧客自選提供了極大的方便；而冰箱和汽車在西方家庭中的普及，使消費者的大量採購和遠距離採購成為可能。
超級市場的誕生，標誌著另一場零售革命的爆發，其零售方式的革新，對社會的生活方式也帶來了以下變化：
1、採用消費者自選購物的自助方式，創造低價利基
此自助方式的競爭手段，不僅衝擊了原有的零售形態，且影響後來折扣商店、倉儲式商店、便利店等新型的零售業態的經營方式。
2、節省人們購物時間
隨著女性工作時間增多，閒暇時間減少，人們已不把購物當作休閑方式，反要求購物更方便、更快捷。超級市場實施的關聯商品陳列和統一結算，滿足了人們的這種新要求，也創造了一種全新的現代生活方式。
3、促進商品包裝的變革
開架售貨方式大流行，迫使廠商進行全新的商品包裝設計，展開包裝、標識等方面的競爭，出現了大中小包裝齊全、標識突出的眾多品牌、裝潢美觀，這也促進購物方便性。
4、提供舒適的購物環境
超級市場所營造的整齊、乾凈的舒適購物環境，取代了原先髒亂嘈雜的傳統市場，使人們購買商品時，即能享受購物樂趣。
（三）第三次零售變革：【連鎖商店】的興起
連鎖商店是現代大工業、大規模化生產發展後的產物。
其實也就是將規模經濟的基本原理，應用於流通領域，提高聯合採購及共配能力，以規模經濟做為提高經營效益和商業競爭的利器。
連鎖商店的基本特徵表現在四個方面：
1、標準化識別。
在連鎖商店中，各分店統一店名，使用統一的標識，進行統一的裝修，在員工服飾、營業時間、廣告宣傳、商品價格方面均保持一致性，從而使連鎖商店的整體形象可標準化識別、可低成本複制、可建立品牌忠誠度。
2、專業化分工。
連鎖商店總部的職能是經營，而店鋪的職能是銷售。
總部的作用就是研究企業的經營技巧，並直接指導分店的經營，這就使分店擺脫了過去靠經驗管理的影響，大大提高了企業經營績效。
3、集中化進貨、共配。
連鎖總部集中進貨，商品批量大，從廠家可取得較大進貨價格折扣，降低進貨成本。而共配方式又能降低物流成本，也加速商品周轉，提升價格競爭優勢。
4、簡單化作業流程。
連鎖商店的作業流程、工作崗位上的操作技術皆儘可能簡單，以減少經驗因素對生產的影響，易於複制。
且由於連鎖體系龐大，在各個環節的控制上都有一套標準作業流程（SOP），要求精簡不必要的過程，達到事半功倍的效果。
在過去30年間，國外的零售業發展了以下各種連鎖商店類型，例如：
(1)類型專賣店（CATEGORY SPECIALIST）是一種占地面積8000平方英尺，經銷的商品品種少、但種類多的折扣商店。如：Toys”R”Us玩具專營店、IKEA等。
(2)居家修繕中心（HOME-IMPROVEMENT）將傳統的五金商店和木材貯藏場綜合起來的類型專營商。如美國HOME DEPOT。
(3)倉儲會員店（WAREHOUSE CLUB）是一種以低價格無服務的方式向顧客和小企業提供有限種類的商品的普通商品零售商。如：Walmart會員店。
(4)折扣零售商（OFF-PRICE RETAILERS）也是一種連鎖店，經常以百貨公司或專賣店定價的2 ~ 7折，來販售許多知名設計師品牌與全國性品牌時尚、生活雜貨、首飾、化妝品、居家時尚等商品。
例如美國專營過季或剪標商品的商店包括像Marshall、Ross等，限定銷售品種，並以有限的經營面積、店鋪裝修簡單、有限的服務和低廉的經營成本，向消費者提供“物有所值”的商品為主要目的的零售業態。
(5)奧特萊斯（OUTLETS）在零售商業中專指由銷售名牌過季、下架、斷碼商品的商店組成的購物中心，因此也稱為“品牌直銷購物中心”。最早誕生於美國，迄今已有近100多年的歷史。Outlets最早就是“工廠直銷店”專門處理工廠尾貨。後來逐漸彙集，慢慢形成類似Shopping Mall的大型Outlets購物中心，並逐漸發展成為一個獨立的零售業態。

（四）【電子商務】造就了零售業第四次變革
【資通訊】技術進步，孵化了零售業第四次變革，對零售業的影響是巨大的，它的影響絕不亞於前三次技術革新對零售業影響的深度和廣度。它目前仍在蛻變中，甚至改變了整個零售業生態。這種影響具體表現在以下幾方面：
1、網路技術打破了零售市場時空界限，店面選擇不再重要。
店面選擇在傳統零售商經營中，曾占據了極其重要的地位，有人甚至將傳統零售企業經營成功的首要因素歸結為：“Place、Place、Place”（選址、選址、還是選址），意寓沒有客流量，就沒有商流。
而連鎖商店之所以迅速崛起，正是打破了單體商店的空間限制，以席捲半邊天來贏得更大的商圈範疇勢力。
而在資訊時代，網路技術更突破了這地理限制，任何網路電商只要通過一定的努力，都可以將目標市場擴展到全國、乃至全世界，市場真正國際化了，也使零售競爭更趨激烈。對傳統商店來說，此讓地理位置的優勢利基大大削弱，要立足市場必須依靠更多經營技術的創新。
2、銷售方式發生變化，促進各種新型業態崛起。
在資訊時代，人們的購物方式將發生巨大變化，消費者將從過去的“進店購物”演變為“居家購物”，足不出戶便能輕鬆在網上完成購物過程。
購物方式的變化，必然引領銷售方式的變化，各種嶄新的零售組織形式——網路商店應運而生，其具有的無可比擬的價格優勢，逐漸吞噬傳統商業模式。
而傳統零售商為求生存，也嘗試在網上開展電子商務，一場O2O的融合之勢，風風火火的開展。
未來零售業的變革不再是一種小打小鬧的局部創新，而是一場真正意義上的生存革命。尤其移動互聯網技術應用，更徹底打破了零售市場時空界限。
3、激化零售商內部組織重組。
在資訊時代，零售業不斷激化各種新型零售組織——傳統零售店、網路商店和O2O的融合新業態，皆將面臨組織重組。這些影響包括：業務人員與銷售人員的減少、企業組織的層次減少、企業管理的幅度增大、零售門店的數量減少，虛擬門市和虛擬部門等企業內外部虛擬組織盛行。這些變化，促使零售商意識到組織再造工程的迫切需要。尤其是催化企業內部作業方式改變，以及員工學習成長方式的改變，這些都迫使零售業進行組織的重整。
4、經營費用大大下降，零售利潤進一步降低。
在資訊時代，零售商的網路化經營，實際上是新的交易工具和新的交易方式形成過程。零售商在網路化經營中，內外交易費用都會下降，就一家零售商而言，如果完全實現了網路化經營，可以節省的費用包括：企業內部的聯繫與溝通費用；企業人力成本費用；避免大量進貨的採購資金成本、倉儲保管費用和物流費用；通過虛擬商店或虛擬商店街銷售的店面租金費用；通過Internet進行宣傳的營銷費用和獲取消費者資訊的搜尋費用……等。
另外，由於網路技術進度大大降低資訊溝通的障礙，人們可以在網路上漫遊、搜尋，直到最佳價格顯示出來，因而將使市場競爭更趨激烈，導致零售利潤也進一步降低，削價、補貼競爭刀刀見骨。大家期待一個贏家全拿的世界？
回顧一下，30年來，互聯網來了，淘寶來了，微博來了，微信來了，微行銷來了、社群行銷來了、直播帶貨來了、粉絲經濟來了、數字經濟來了……！
■案例﹕Web1.0時代的零售王者：阿里巴巴商業帝國
阿里巴巴成立於1999年，經歷B2B、C2C、B2C等一系列電商模式轉型，發展成為集電商、新零售、金融、物流、大文娛、雲計算為一體的龐大生態體系。
目前，阿里巴巴商業帝國主要業務包括6大部分：
- 中國零售：淘寶、天貓、天貓國際、新零售（盒馬）
- 中國批發： 1688
- 國際零售： Lazada、速賣通
- 國際批發：阿里巴巴國際站
- 菜鳥：物流
- 餓了麼：外賣
■案例﹕Web2.0時代的零售王者：微信公眾平臺的商業應用
當你決定做「微信行銷」時，必須先想清楚自己想通過「微信」實現什麼價值？

所以，若企業想利用微信訂閱號，更快捷找到客戶，並和客戶建立深度聯繫，首先，必須要搞清楚自己的「微信公眾平臺」到底要實現什麼價值？
四、O2O線上、線下融合的商業模式
O2O(Online to Offline)概念一般認為是2010年由美國人Alex Rampell最早提出，2011年被引入大陸。
（一）O2O商業運作模式的特徵
基本上，O2O的商業運作模式具有以下三大特徵：
1、O2O模式的基本商業邏輯是：“電商+到店消費”模式
使用者在線上平臺預先支付，然後到線下消費體驗，商家即時追蹤其行銷效果，由此形成閉環的商業服務和體驗過程。
它採用“電商+到店消費”模式，而不是“電商+物流配送”模式。
2、用互聯網思維的方式，去打通線上和線下這兩個平臺，一切以用戶為中心。
其中，“資訊流+資金流”通過線上實現，“商業流+服務流”則線上下實現。
3、企業在O2O這種虛實互動的商業模式下，專注於“碎片化管道+個性化內容”組合成各種互動式的精准社會化行銷，最後通過互動形成“粉絲社群”，才是O2O的關鍵。亦即，O2O精髓不在於線上或線下，而在於線上線下的互動。
例如，美國梅西百貨以O2O打造現代百貨生態圈，並以“移動互聯+大資料精准行銷+社區化”提升其消費體驗，由此起死回生。
（二）O2O的商業模式在大陸的演進
一般認為，攜程旅行網…等在中國最早採用O2O模式，其利用線上資訊流吸納遊客，通過線下旅遊公司讓遊客享受旅行服務。
直到2013年，O2O開始被廣泛關注，例如點評類網站、團購類網站、訂餐類網站等都宣稱自己採用了O2O商業模式。
目前，O2O模式已向各領域全面滲透，促使線上線下真正融合起來。
■案例﹕中國年輕人為何逐漸想不起屈臣氏了？
屈臣氏沒有變，但幾年發展下來，中國年輕人不知從什麼時候開始，逐漸想不起來屈臣氏了？屈臣氏中國門市變得門可羅雀！
「除非是急用才會去屈臣氏，不然還是會選擇網購。」一位消費者表示。
屈臣氏中國門市客流量下降，直接帶來營業利潤下降。
2022年屈臣氏中國的收益總額僅 175.79億港幣，下降20%，EBITDA 更一口氣銳減58%，毛利率僅為 6%。此凸顯了屈臣氏中國 2022年的困境，誰還記得在2016年時，其EBITDA毛利率還在 22%的高峰。
EBITDA，是Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization的縮寫，即未計利息、稅項、折舊及攤銷前的利潤，亦即EBITDA=淨利潤+所得稅+利息+固定資產折舊+無形資產攤銷+長期待攤費用攤銷。
EBITDA主要用於衡量企業主營業務產生現金流的能力，可以作為現金流量表的補充，相比較EBIT，多了折舊和攤銷兩項指標。
2022年屈臣氏中國共收掉 343家門市，亦即，2022年幾乎每天關閉一家門市。
昔日零售王者屈臣氏中國，為何走至如此田地？
從財報數據顯示，屈臣氏在 2015年的收益總額幾乎與 2014年打平，但從2016 年則下滑4%。換句話說，如果從時間軸來看，此一時期正是電商快速搶佔中國市場階段。
反觀，從 2013年到 2016年，中國美妝電商行業的市場交易規模，從人民幣19.8 億元飆升至 67.4億元。
雖然，屈臣氏在 2011年就入駐淘寶商城，2012年也開通掌上網店。
但屈臣氏對線上通路並不上心，導致線上銷售收獲始終不見起色。
直到2017年 3月屈臣氏終於宣布與天貓進行渠道合作，下定決心發展電商。
至此，屈臣氏總算趕上打通線上、線下銷售渠道的潮流，不同平台的會員積分系統終於得以互認。
在「O+O」（offline + online）營運模式下，屈臣氏也推出門市自提和閃電送服務。
已經在線上銷售渠道慢了一步的屈臣氏，採取線上線下同時布局的方式。接著，
在本身已經有一定門市體驗服務的情況下，屈臣氏在3,000家門市推出新的AR虛擬試妝服務，透過增強線下門市用戶體驗的服務，試圖留住匆匆路過的消費者。（不過，不是每家門市都有AR試妝等服務）。
但如果服務品質不佳或消費者無從得知門市多樣服務，單店盈利能力多少會受到影響，至少不如預期水準。
